GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful construction company based in Bromsgrove who specialise in high quality design and build contract work. We are supporting their recruitment for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their team, offering part time hours, ideally 3 full days or 4 reduced hour days a week. (Flexible pending requirements of candidate)

This position is offering £14p/h

We need an individual that can show previous experience in a similar role, at least 2-3 years, who can handle all aspects of accounts for a busy company.

Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper main duties:

  • All aspect of the sales ledger.
  • Purchase ledger.
  • Collaborating with project managers to assist with raising invoices.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • CIS payments
  • Retentions

Account Assistant/Bookkeeper required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Sage 50
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
