Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a specialist provision in Bromsgrove as a Cleaner
The provision is an Independent SEN School and caters for 11-17 year olds who have special education needs relating mainly to Autism. The school offers an environment that is safe and low sensory alongside an ambitious curriculum which includes a suite of GCSEs and enrichment opportunities to ensure students achieve the very best outcomes possible and are fully prepared for their transition in to Further education, employment, training and adulthood.
Duties of the role will include:
- Cleaning certain parts of the school site
- Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors
- Sweeping uncarpeted areas
- Emptying and cleaning bins
- Spot cleaning of spillages
- Cleaning desks, seats and skirting boards
- Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries
- Cleaning doors and windows
- Checking stock levels of cleaning materials
- Reporting all defects/hazards immediately
An understanding students with SEND
Have worked in a similar position
