Job Description for Marketing Executive:

We have the exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join an innovative marketing team within a leading corporate organisation. Do you have experience with creating and managing campaigns, social media management and content creation & writing? This could be your perfect next step to further skills and experience within a creative marketing position. The ideal candidate would have a degree within marketing or have/working towards an equivalent qualification. Office is based in a commutable location for public transport and would be suitable for candidates based in the Bromsgrove and surrounding south Birmingham area.

Key duties and responsibilities for Marketing Executive:

  • Work on the copy and creation of marketing material including leaflets, brochures, signage, business documents and stationery. Excellent attention to detail is a must to ensure briefs are thorough and hit the business requirements first time.
  • Work with internal teams and external suppliers to create new websites to help the brands achieve their goals as well as making website updates to content and images in line with SEO requirements and compliance requirements.
  • Support the negotiation and booking of print advertising, events, and sponsorships.
  • Produce and distribute content across blogs and social media, in addition to contributing to overall content and social marketing plans.
  • Work on rebrand and brand creation, including initial research and marketing proposals.
  • Provide general support in line with existing marketing plans, campaigns and new suggested activity.
  • Support with processing of invoices and marketing administration, in line with agreed department quotes and budgets.
  • Support the business at events and external exhibitions (where required), engaging with the public and ensuring the brand is represented to the highest standard.
  • Support with internal communications across the group.
  • Help to collate metrics, working with the Marketing Managers and stakeholders to produce meaningful data to measure the success of marketing activity.

Key Skills and Experience required for Marketing Executive:

  • Experience in supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns, ideally within the Insurance sector
  • Experience in tracking campaigns, analysing results, and using learnings to improve future campaigns
  • Good experience in content creation across all channels to promote our offers via compelling storytelling
  • Experience of supporting events as a part of product and channel strategy
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms Knowledge and understanding of acquiring and using data to target segmented audiences
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to proof read to a high standard
  • Preferably a marketing degree, equivalent qualification may be considered
  • Preferably have experience within an FCA regulated industry.
