Are you passionate about positively impacting the lives of young individuals with unique needs? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a young person with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and Global Developmental Delay. This role involves 20 hours per week, providing one-to-one support to an individual with significant communication difficulties and sensory processing disorder, working alongside a teacher in the young person’s home.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the teacher to support the young person’s learning and development.
  • Engage in a range of activities both at home and in the community.
  • Provide compassionate and effective one-to-one support tailored to the individual’s needs.

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in supporting students with SEN needs/EHCPs in a similar setting.
