Teaching Assistant – SEND School, BromsgroveAre you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to support students with moderate to complex needs? This welcoming SEND school in Bromsgrove is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to work with students across Key Stages 3 to 5. This role requires a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children with complex learning needs.This school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where students are supported to achieve their full potential.   • Supporting students with moderate to complex needs across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to help students access the curriculum.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
  • Supporting students with personal care and mobility needs, where required.
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to learning.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a SEND setting.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
