A leading security solutions provider is seeking a Security Systems Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality security systems, including intruder alarms, VSS (formerly CCTV), and access control installations, to work in a rewarding and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete installations of intruder alarms, VSS (CCTV), and access control systems on customer sites in compliance with company and industry standards, including BS/EN, SSAIB Criteria, and NPCC/PSS policies.
  • Attend maintenance visits and respond to call-outs, replacing or repairing items as necessary.
  • Methodically diagnose problems and efficiently carry out corrective actions during fault finding.
  • Complete work on time without compromising on quality and compliance.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and follow RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to support clients as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with your team to ensure that project deadlines are met.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in the installation of intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • A "can-do" attitude and the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Experience working with specialist security software (training will be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant work.
  • Full UK driving license (essential).
  • Security screening to BS7858 standard is required.

Qualifications & Industry Requirements:

  • BTEC Level 4 or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
  • CSCS card.
  • IPAF Licence.
