A leading security solutions provider is seeking a Security Systems Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality security systems, including intruder alarms, VSS (formerly CCTV), and access control installations, to work in a rewarding and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete installations of intruder alarms, VSS (CCTV), and access control systems on customer sites in compliance with company and industry standards, including BS/EN, SSAIB Criteria, and NPCC/PSS policies.
- Attend maintenance visits and respond to call-outs, replacing or repairing items as necessary.
- Methodically diagnose problems and efficiently carry out corrective actions during fault finding.
- Complete work on time without compromising on quality and compliance.
- Adhere to safety regulations and follow RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks.
- Participate in the on-call rota to support clients as needed.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with your team to ensure that project deadlines are met.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of three years' experience in the installation of intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- A "can-do" attitude and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience working with specialist security software (training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant work.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Security screening to BS7858 standard is required.
Qualifications & Industry Requirements:
- BTEC Level 4 or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
- CSCS card.
- IPAF Licence.
