- Assist in the research, development, and creative planning of events such as the Green Fair, Summer Fun, and Light Trail.
- Engage external organisations, partners, and third-party agencies for event collaboration.
- Identify event resource requirements and manage quotes, proposals, and invoices.
- Liaise with internal and external departments for smooth event coordination.
- Maintain the ‘Live Project Tracker’, managing work plans, budgets, and supplier contacts.
- Support on-site event delivery to ensure timely and budget-conscious execution.
- Assist with documentation including risk assessments, management plans, and site layouts.
- Contribute to event marketing and promotion, logistics, and production.
- Collaborate with local businesses and partners to enhance greenspace offerings.
- Help manage event site setups and breakdowns.
- Enable and encourage community engagement at all stages of event planning and delivery.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Greenspaces & Community Events Officer.
- Experience in event planning, logistics, or community engagement.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficiency in project tracking and documentation.
- A proactive, energetic, and flexible approach to tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required.
- Basic DBS will be required for the successful applicant
