Health and Safety Manager responsibilities include -
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations across all buildings.
- Maintain accident records, investigate incidents, and report under RIDDOR.
- Develop, update, and maintain health & safety policies and risk assessments.
- Conduct training, inductions, and promote workplace health & safety best practices.
- Manage contractor permits, visitor registers, and ensure compliance with protocols.
- Collaborate with management to drive improvements and attend relevant training.
Health and Safety Manager desirable skills and education -
- Strong HSE experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Systems experience - ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 18001.
- Internal Auditor, NEBOSH General Cert, IOSH.
