Job Title: Payroll ManagerWorking Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pmSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Location: BromsgroveMy client is searching for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of their payroll processes within a start-up business in Bromsgrove. This role provides an exciting opportunity to grow with the company, offering hands-on involvement in building scalable payroll systems from the ground up. As the Payroll Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the company's growth, ensuring accurate payroll operations while collaborating closely with HR and finance. Along with a competitive salary, this position offers a dynamic environment and a chance to make a meaningful impact within a passionate team. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process to ensure efficient and accurate payroll cycles.
  • Maintain and update employee records using Sage payroll software.
  • Work closely with the HR department to verify and maintain accurate employee information.
  • Produce payroll reports and provide insights to management as required. 
  • Analyse payroll data, addressing discrepancies or issues as needed.
  • Manage payroll-related accounts payable tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with related laws and regulations.
Skills and Attributes required:
  • Proven experience in payroll management.
  • Proficient in Sage payroll software.
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing and interpreting payroll data.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles in relation to payroll.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
