About the Role

 

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Telesales/Lead Generator to join our client’s team. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for potential customers, playing a key part in the sales process. Your primary responsibility will be to follow up on leads, engage with prospective clients, and generate interest in their products or services.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Make outbound calls to follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, online enquiries, referrals, and other sources.
  • Assess potential customers’ needs, qualify their interest, and determine their suitability for further sales discussions.
  • Communicate the features and benefits of our offerings clearly and persuasively, tailoring your approach to meeting customer requirements.
  • Log and update customer information and interactions accurately within the CRM system.
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads, providing detailed notes and insights.
  • Follow-Up: Carry out follow-up calls and emails to nurture leads and maintain their engagement.
  • Share feedback from customer interactions to support the refinement of marketing and sales strategies.
  • Work towards and exceed lead generation and conversion goals set by the company.

 

Skills and Experience Required

 

  • Previous experience in a telesales, lead generation, or customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • A target-driven mindset with a proactive and determined approach.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads effectively.
  • Confidence in using CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards overcoming objections and resolving challenges.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and techniques, with a genuine passion for customer engagement.
