Our client is a specialist Mechanical Services contractor operating nationwide, with a strong focus on office and hotel projects.
They are known for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions and are looking for a talented engineer to join their growing team.
They are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeprojects for hotels, restaurants, sports facilities, leisure centres, care homes,offices and educational establishments.
- Manage sub-contractors from tender to handover, ensuring programmes and deadlines are met.
- Conduct site surveys, technical reviews, and defect collation for installed works.
- Represent the company in client meetings and site visits
- Ensure compliance with up-to-date rules, regulations, and technical standards.
- Witness and oversee commissioning processes.
- Perform cost control, procurement, and better buying initiatives.
- Develop estimating capabilities and manage budgets effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Building Services Mechanical Design
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, AutoCAD & Revit (Revit is beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to produce validation reports and detailed mechanical designs
