About the Role:KC Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid payroll experience in both the UK and Ireland to join a supportive team in a role that balances office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage full-cycle payrolls, including calculating, processing, and ensuring timely distribution for both UK and Ireland payrolls.
  • Compliance & Regulation: Ensure payroll processes comply with local laws, including tax regulations and reporting requirements in both jurisdictions.
  • Query Resolution: Handle payroll-related queries from employees and management, providing clear and timely responses.
  • Payroll Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll discrepancies, prepare month-end reports, and ensure all data is accurate for financial reporting.
  • Statutory Payments: Process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP, and manage year-end procedures, including P60s and P45s.
  • Benefits Administration: Coordinate payroll deductions related to pensions, student loans, and other employee benefits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements in payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration with Finance & HR: Work closely with Finance and HR teams to ensure payroll alignment with organisational policies and updates.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll, with exposure to both UK and Irish payrolls.
  • Strong understanding of UK and Ireland payroll legislation and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
