About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Bromsgrove. This role requires an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional with a commitment to high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications and will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth functioning of pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Preparation and Dispensing: Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring safety and compliance with pharmacy protocols.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring that all stock is organized and replenished as needed.
  • Patient Support: Provide accurate information and support to patients regarding their medications, addressing queries in a professional and patient-centered manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant pharmacy and healthcare regulations, maintaining high standards in patient safety and medication management.
Candidate Requirements
  • Registration: Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Technical Skills: Competence in prescription preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and adherence to pharmacy regulations and standards.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.
