A leading principal contractor, specialising in Severn Trent Water projects, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their Commercial team in Bromsgrove.

Role Overview:
As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly to the Commercial Director. You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and directing a team of Quantity Surveyors at various levels, ensuring the successful commercial delivery of projects within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee all commercial aspects of projects, from inception to completion.
·Manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors.
·Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
·Lead negotiations and procurement processes with subcontractors and suppliers.
·Monitor project costs and maintain financial control.
·Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:
·Proven experience in a similar role within the water or civil engineering industry.
·Strong leadership and team management skills.
·In-depth knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices.
·Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
·Relevant degree or professional qualifications (e.g., RICS).
