The job opportunity is for a Van / Light Tipper Mechanic with an immediate start at a well-established organization in Redditch & Bromsgrove.
The role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining light fleet vehicles and conducting low volume MOTs as needed.
Candidates must have experience in a fleet workshop and hold at least a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent for light commercial vehicle repair.
The position offers a salary of up to £17.11 per hour and is ongoing on a temporary basis with weekly pay.
Additional qualifications such as DVSA nominated tester class 4 and light plant machinery certificates are highly desirable.

Talent are working with a well-established organisation based in Redditch & Bromsgrove Depots. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Van / Light Tipper Mechanic on an ongoing temporary basis,

Job Role of a Van/Light Tipper Mechanic

Undertake the service, repair, maintenance and inspections of light Fleet vehicles and light plant machinery
Low volume MOTs on Taxi/Private Hire and Public vehicles when needed.

Qualifications / Experience of a Van/Light Tipper Mechanic

Experience of working in a fleet workshop
City & Guilds Level 3 minimum or equivalent for light commercial Van/tipper repair and maintenance.
DVSA nominated tester class 4 (5&7 is highly desirable but not essential).
Light Plant machinery (CITB Plant Operators Certificates highly desirable), for the repair and maintenance of walk behind and ride on mowers, pole saws and blowers, chippers and stump grinders, etc.
Any welding/fabricating skills and Qualifications/Certificates would be again highly desirable, but not essential.
