Project manager (Financial) - up to £75,000 plus benefits (Hybrid)

About your new role:

DCS Tech are proudly partnered with a key client who are now looking for an experienced Project Manager. You will be joining a highly productive and collaborative role, working for an industry leader in FinTech. The organisation is experiencing a fantastic period of expansion and you will be vital in assisting with the delivery of exciting projects!

About you:

  • Passionate about Project Management: Proven experience in project management in financial and banking institutions.
  • Product Launcher: demonstrated success in managing projects such as delivering financial or banking products to market.
  • Born leader: capable of leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects/priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Talk and listen: Exceptional communication with strong interpersonal skills. Able to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels, with teams internally and external partners.
  • Knowledgeable: Understanding and experience of financial business model and regulations. (Financial compliance and frameworks)
  • Awareness: a high level of understanding of technical requirements with the ability to communicate to them non-technical teams.
  • Qualified: Relevant qualifications/certifications in project management or related fields.

What will you get up to?

  • Drive Core Banking Projects: Take full ownership of managing core banking projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams ranging from product development and compliance to marketing, sales, and external partner's align project objectives and foster a culture of collaboration and success.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Anticipate and identify potential risks, developing robust mitigation strategies to ensure seamless project execution while adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strategic Resource Allocation: Lead resource planning efforts, ensuring the right mix of talent and tools are in place to meet project milestones effectively.
  • Transparent Reporting: Keep stakeholders informed with clear, concise project documentation. Provide regular, insightful updates to Project Sponsors, the Board, and Senior Leadership on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
