About the Role:

As Bid Manager, you'll take the lead on high-impact proposal efforts. You'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating and inspiring cross-functional teams to produce competitive, strategically aligned bids that win in today's fast-paced market. From managing risks to optimizing proposal content, you'll ensure every bid stands out, driving growth and cementing our partner's position as a market leader.

You will be responsible for:

  • End-to-End Bid Management: Lead the full bid lifecycle, coordinating subject matter experts and directing proposal development to meet client needs and align with strategic goals.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and proactively manage bid risks, collaborating with internal teams to address potential challenges.
  • Market Intelligence: Integrate market insights by partnering with sales, product, and intelligence teams, ensuring each bid reflects the latest industry trends and competitive intelligence.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a small, dedicated bid team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to guide and develop team members.

  • Commercial Insight: A strong understanding of pricing strategies and financial impact.

  • Credentials: Degree-qualified or equivalent experience, with APMP Practitioner certification required.
