Job Responsibilities:
Work on the contracting process of understanding our requirement of the cities where we require hotels and than working with the hotel revenue and sales team to negotiate rates based on volumes
- Building relationships with hotels and self-catering apartments.
- Developing a portfolio of hotels and products to create a diverse pool across our chosen region and negotiating the best hotel deals to inspire our worldwide members to travel.
- Driving the commercial growth by building strong relationships with decision makers in the supply chain. To be in touch through calls and regular follow up meetings
- Managing all elements of the contracting process from target identification and initial contact right through to pricing, contract agreement, allocation management and ongoing account management.
- Reporting, evaluating and implementing suitable sales measures to optimise performance and growth.
- Closely collaborating with other departments – particularly with Operations, Sales Steering & Revenue, Customer Service.
- Be an expert in your destination, generating new leads and researching the competitive landscape of the tourism trends of your region
- Attend trade shows and networking events in the travel industry that will result in positive returns of increase business and learning
- Train the team on the hotels or regions that are contracted .
- Load the hotels in our system and checking that information is correct and the photos etc used are of good quality
- To ensure that while contracting our commission process is streamlined and we set direct payments
Qualifications Required
- Relevant experience in the Travel Industry dealing with Group Bookings and Hotels in contracting
- To act as a team Player in the Hotel Department, also co-ordinating work with sales and product.
- Flexibility to work late or attend an event if required.
- Strong Organisational and Administrative Skills.
- Ability to Multi-Task and Plan Daily, Weekly and Monthly Activity.
- Good Geographical Knowledge of the UK and Europe a preference.
To have worked in contracting in UK , French and Italian hotels
*Fluency in a second European language would be an advantage
Hotel Contracting Executive Minium 2 year experience in contracting , If manager minimum 5 years experience
Office Job Monday to Friday 9 am -6pm ( One Hour for Lunch off and from time to time travel is required over weekends to attend fairs, conferences etc )
