A massive opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a global company based in Broomfleet. With an annual turnover of £3.5 billion my client is the world market leader in its sector. They have over 200 plants worldwide in over 30 different countries, including 16 in the UK.

My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their 4 on / 4 off continental shift at one of their biggest UK sites. Loaded with benefits and a great salary package, if this job sounds appealing to you please read on.

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer include:

  • 4 on / 4 off Continental Shift. (2days/2nights)
  • Install and/or maintain plant machinery.
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system.
  • Fault finding and repairing any electrical or electro-mechanical related problems.
  • Ensure that all plant and machinery is kept in a good working and clean condition.
  • Program all Siemens & other PLC equipment. (Desirable)
  • Assist with the installation of new plant equipment.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

  • Electrical apprentice trained.
  • HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
  • 17th / 18th edition qualified.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment; Ideally heavy manufacturing.
  • Siemens S7 knowledge.
  • Excellent fault-finding abilities.
  • Pneumatics.
