We are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join a dynamic business in Brough, East Yorkshire. The company is a construction management services company who operate in the health and education sectors working on projects between 100,000 and 6 million in value. Projects include new build construction, refurbishments and interior fit outs.

The role of Quantity Surveyor / Estimator is to provide commercial support on projects to ensure they are tendered, procured and delivered within budget and to the highest quality whilst exceeding our customers' expectations. This position will report directly to the Commercial Director. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects to meet financial targets. You will have good communication skills with the ability to nurture relationships with both the supply chain and customers.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working for construction companies in quantity surveying and estimating
  • Previous experience of new build and refurbishment projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent IT skills
