This role will be based within the company's Logistics and Distribution centre. Offering a salary of 40k - 45k dependant on experience and working hours are 8:00 - 17:00 pm

As a Quality Engineer, you will work with the Quality Manager and Quality Inspector to ensure that the company is able to meet the QA objectives, which entail the drive for continuous improvement within the framework of ISO 9001, to take receipt of quality product and then to subsequently deliver this product right first time to our customers. These objectives will necessitate dealing directly with both suppliers and customers and will also require working interdepartmentally within the company
Key requirements
* Must have worked in an ISO 9001 approved manufacturing company, preferably ISO16949.
* Experience with threaded fasteners preferred.
* Understanding of process capability, Cp & Cpk.
* Knowledge of core tools e.g. SPC, PPAP, MSA, FMEA.
* Knowledge of quality tools in resolution of quality concerns.
* Experience in internal auditing, qualification preferred.
* Involvement in ISO 9001 & customer audits.
* Able to use basic measuring equipment such as micrometer, electronic calliper (vernier calliper), shadowgraph, thread ring & plug gauges.
* Computer (Excel & Word) literate.
* Experience in data analysis.
* Experience dealing directly with both customers and suppliers.
