Your new roleStory Contracting is currently undertaking a significant highways project in Grizebeck, South Cumbria. The project involves the construction of a new 1.4 km bypass and all associated infrastructure. The works include:Earthworks (cut & fill)DrainageHighways constructionConcrete bridgesConcrete culvertsReinforced earth walls
You will be responsible for:Setting out and surveying the site using your own equipmentManaging and overseeing earthworks, drainage, and highways constructionSupervising the construction of concrete bridges, culverts, and reinforced earth wallsEnsuring all work is completed to the highest standards and within project timelinesDocumenting and reporting on project progress using Microsoft Office programsWhat you'll need to succeedRequirements:Own setting out kit and laptopProficiency in AutoCAD and N4ce volumetrics softwareStrong experience with Microsoft Office programsPrevious experience in similar construction projectsExcellent communication and organisational skills
