The successful candidate will work closely with directors to help manage the increasing workflow resulting from changes to the accountancy and tax sector, especially within Agriculture. Responsibilities

  • Preparation of draft Financial Statements for all business types ready for Partner Review
  • Mentor, support, and oversee junior accounting staff to encourage professional growth
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Provide management information to assist in client decisions and formulate tax strategies
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry trends, including Making Tax Digital
  • The role is a great opportunity to develop managerial qualities and a client portfolio in a dynamic environment

Qualifications/Skills

  • You must be qualified (or nearly qualified) with ACA or ACCA
  • Proven experience in Private Practice
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Xero
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Supervisory or Managerial experience would be beneficial

  • This is a predominantly office-based position, however, a maximum of 1 day per week can be considered for the right candidate
