Senior Quality Engineer responsibilities include -
- Support the Production team by providing technical expertise in quality engineering.
- Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Manage customer complaints and drive corrective actions using 8D methodology.
- Develop and maintain quality management system documentation (APQP, PPAP)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Analyse quality data from ERP systems and customer feedback to identify trends for improvement.
Senior Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -
- Experience within a similar role, Quality Lead, Quality Manager etc.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of QMS, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Able to use core tools such as 8D, PPAP, and Control Plans.
- Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC) or relevant training.
