About the CompanyJoin an exciting and dynamic events company based in Broxbourne! We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences and are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to support our Finance Manager and ensure the smooth running of our department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders and invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements and process expenses.
- Handle petty cash, company credit cards, and cashbook reconciliations.
- Create sales invoices and assist with VAT returns.
- Generate weekly aged debtor and creditor reports.
- Support ad-hoc administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and responding to supplier queries.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in accounting/finance with a strong understanding of bookkeeping.
- Skills: Proficient in Sage 50 Accounting and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Attributes: Impeccable time-management, organizational skills, and proactive mindset. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
