Shifts for Grounds Maintence:
- 06:00 to 14:00
- 07:00 to 16:00
Pay :
- From £11.44 per hour
- if you have a driving licence £12.26
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of a Grounds Maintence:
- Work as part of a flexible team in performing horticultural services such as grass cutting and strimming to agreed work schedules and contract standards. Drive from site to site as required.
- Undertake shrub bed or other horticultural maintenance as directed, including the planting of seasonal bedding.
- To undertake pitch maintenance including white lining, erection of goal posts etc.
Support the supervisor and other colleagues with the aim of achieving daily and weekly targets.
- Report on issues that affect the day to day running of the grounds maintenance operation.
- To undertake any training deemed necessary to enable ones own progression and to ensure the grounds maintenance operation is effective in reaching or exceeding its targets.
- To act as a point of contact for members of the public whilst carrying out duties in the Borough
- Able to work under pressure
- Have good teamwork
- Follow the health and safety policy, which includes wearing PPE and uniform.
- Perform duties in a safe and courteous manner, remembering at all times that you are an ambassador for the company.
