The Role - Teacher of Maths in Broxbourne
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or early careers teacher to join an excellent department for a long term contract.

About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience: You should have recent experience working in UK schools, preferably within secondary education. Experience teaching Maths across different Key Stages, including KS3, KS4, and KS5, is highly desirable.
- Curriculum Knowledge: You should be up to date with the UK Maths curriculum, including recent changes and developments. Familiarity with exam board requirements and assessment criteria is essential for ensuring students' success.
- Specialist Knowledge: A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey these in a clear and accessible manner is crucial. You should be capable of inspiring a love for Maths in students of all abilities.
- Classroom Management: Effective classroom management skills are essential to maintaining a positive learning environment. You should be able to handle a variety of classroom situations with professionalism and care.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. You should be able to provide constructive feedback and maintain open lines of communication to support student development.
- Enhanced DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check is mandatory, ensuring you meet the safeguarding requirements to work with children.
