Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our dynamic team at a fantastic, family owned business based in West Lothian. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundwork and be capable of undertaking a variety of tasks on site, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of groundwork activities, including excavation, drainage, and foundation work.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker, ideally with at least 5 years in the field.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CSCS card, CPCS for plant operation).
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
