The successful HSEQ Manager will be joining an organisation at the forefront of the utilities, telecommunications, and civil engineering sectors. They are committed to delivering high-quality services and projects while ensuring the utmost safety and well-being of their employees, subcontractors, and the communities they serve. It is envisaged that the successful HSEQ Manager will have previous experience within utilities, telecommunications or civil engineering.

- Salary: 40k - 45k

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continually improve comprehensive health and safety programs, policies, and procedures specific to utilities, telecommunications, and civil engineering projects.
- Stay current with and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses for all projects within these industries, identifying potential safety issues and providing solutions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees and subcontractors, ensuring a high level of safety awareness and competence.
- Lead investigations and report on safety incidents, accidents, near misses, and injuries, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in civils engineering or construction
- Professional certifications in safety management
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams to achieve safety objectives.
- Proficiency in safety software and reporting tools.
