JLR Level 2 Vehicle Technician

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday

Hours: 07:30-16:30 or 08:00-17:00

Salary: £38,000 p/a

Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for JLR Level 2 Vehicle Technicians, the role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work within a large UK company who have operations across the country.

The Role:

• Previous Jaguar Land Rover experience required
• Preparing for MOT tests
• Assessing the condition of vehicles between MOT’s required
• Identifying mechanical faults in a vehicle's brakes, engine, gears, or electrics etc.
• Fitting Parts
• Carrying out a multi-point inspection on all vehicles
• Ability to draw upon experience to troubleshoot current issue
• Conduct servicing and repairs to many different types of vehicles
• Reporting all issues/faults found
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on-time
• Follow assignments through to completion, meets deadlines and deliver on promises
• Excellent practical skills and the ability to solve problems
• Good communication skills
• A willingness to work as part of a team & on own initiative

What kind of person we are looking for?:

We are looking for an experienced mechanical technician. Ideal candidate MUST have current experience either working at a main dealer, independent garage or repair centre & be familiar with various main dealer diagnostic equipment/Snap-On diagnostic equipment.

• Vehicle Technician experience is essential to be successful in this role
• MUST Hold full UK driving licence
• MUST hold a Jaguar Land Rover Level 2 qualification
