Operations Administrator

Location: Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire

Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30

Salary: 24,430 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Igloo is recruiting an Operations Administrator for our client in Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire. This is a permanent opportunity to join a global leader in the automotive industry, supporting their operations across site.

This role combines office-based administration with outdoor yard operations, requiring physical fitness and the ability to work across the site, get in and out of vehicles, and safely drive cars. You will be part of a team ensuring the smooth running of vehicle movements and inventory processes across inbound, movements, and outbound functions of the business.

The Role:

  • Update vehicle records accurately on relevant systems.
  • Drive vehicles professionally and in line with site rules.
  • Ensure vehicles and items are stored in correct locations and conditions.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties to support administration and inventory processes.
  • Conduct quality control checks within set timeframes.
  • Observe health and safety standards at all times.
  • Interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.

The Person:

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and provide clear instructions.
  • Full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, even under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using handheld and tablet technology.
  • Computer literate, with a working knowledge of CAMS.
  • Basic understanding of HSE legislation.
