In the role, you will be involved in all aspects of financial operations, including managing the school's day-to-day finances, processing invoices, supporting budgeting activities, and advising on the new VAT payments. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the finance team and school leadership, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the institution.

This role would suit a Finance Assistant with experience dealing with VAT and local to Somerset.

The Role

• Assist in the management of day-to-day finances and accounting tasks.
• Support with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

The Person

• A background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with experience in a similar role.
• Finance/Accounting Degree or similar (AAT etc).
• Local to Bruton.
