The Job Role
Somerset Education Alliance are looking for a RE teacher based in or around the Bruton area who is driven and dedicated to educating and guiding the young minds of our future. You will be able to adapt to different environments, engage students with invigorating ideas and radiate positivity throughout the placement.
This role is a full time opportunity for a RE Teacher at a school in Bruton.

RE Teacher Responsibilities
- Delivering cover lessons
- Preparing planning if required
- Following safeguarding and school policies
- Marking work as needed
- Liaising with school staff
RE Teacher Essentials
- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)
- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
- A 3 year minimum reference history
- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum
- Reliability
- Excellent communication skills
