Westminster council are recruiting for a Social Worker

Pay rate for this role dependant on experience will be 37LTD per hour

Child Protection & Complex CIN Team Location: Westminster Council, Assessment Team, 4 Frampton Street | NW88LF

Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of 8-12 families, conducting high-quality risk assessments and interventions. Prepare court reports and provide expert testimony as required. Attend CP conferences, CIN meetings, and work directly with children and families.

Address issues of extra-familial harm, including CSE, and collaborate with partner agencies. Maintain accurate and timely records using Mosaic (preferred).

Demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent report writing ability, and a diligent work ethic. Requirements: Degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England (SWE). Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services Social Work. Proven experience in child protection, court work, and working with CIN. Strong understanding of child protection laws, practices, and frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with children and families.
