Mechanical Fitter required to join a  Manufacturing business in Llanelli!!!

Are you passionate about Motorsports, Automotive or Engineering, and do you have any experience working with engines?

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join an automotive based manufacturing company located in the heart of Llanelli, South Wales. This role offers an annual salary up to £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience) and the working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (37 hours per week).

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion in Motorsports, a qualification or degree in Motorsport Engineering or Automotive Engineering would be highly advantageous, this role would suit someone who previous experience working with Car Engines either in a workshop environment, or someone that does this as a Hobby in their spare time.

What You Will Do:

  • Engage in the assembly and disassembly of internal combustion engines.
  • Interpret engineering drawings with precision.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, including spanners and torque wrenches, on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct tests and gather data using both mechanical and electronic equipment, analyzing findings to report on project progress.
  • Provide feedback on diagnostic applications and validate final software and hardware releases.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience with engine mechanics, either professionally or as a personal hobby.
  • A solid mechanical background with adeptness in using both hand and power tools.
  • A full UK Driving License, with a preference for a clean record.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to tasks and projects.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
