Our client is a successful and well-established leading manufacturer, they are looking for someone to join them as a Bench Technician.  The main purpose of the Bench Technician role is to test, repair and install the active products that they manufacture.

•    You have previous experience of working in a production / manufacturing / assembly / factory role

Salary: £24,336

Hours of work: Day shift only

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for testing and repairing all active products and systems
•    Contribute to modification improvements to products
•    Unload equipment and products from company vehicles
•    Reassemble equipment and products
•    Logistical awareness
•    Accurate form/documentation filling
•    Participate in continual training and development across the product range
•    Any other duties in line with the demands of the business

Required Experience:

•    Skilled with a wide range of hand and power tools
•    Previous experience of working in a production / manufacturing / assembly / factory role
•    Experience in Stock Control procedures would be an advantage
•    A good communicator with the ability to work under pressure

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, previous job titles may include; Joiner / Kitchen or Bathroom Fitter / Sign Installer / Production Line Operative / Production Operative / Manufacturing Operator / Manufacturing Operative / Machine Operator / Machinist / Factory Worker / Assembler / Assembly Operative / Assembly Operator / Handyman / Fabrication Operative / Fabricator / Process Operator / Mechanical Fitter / Engineer / Setter / Laminator / Machine Operative / Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician / etc.
