Deputy Manager - Complex Mental Health

Brook Street Social Care are supporting a reputable organisation to find their new team member, to lead a dedicated team providing support to residents with complex mental health needs in a community-based service. This rewarding role involves overseeing a team of 12 staff with the support of other senior staff. Providing care to 7 residents in Brynmawr and Blaenau Gwent, ensuring that each resident receives the support they need to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and manage resident's complex mental health needs.

Lead a team and collaborate with clinical professionals.

Conduct appraisals, supervisions, and mentor your team.

Provide on-call support (one week every 4).

Build strong relationships with residents and external partners.

About You:

Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs.

Strong communication skills and confidence to liaise with external agencies.

Experience in leadership or coaching roles within mental health services.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage challenging situations.

Enhanced DBS on the update service is desired and full UK driving license is essential.
