The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant / TA for long-term work, The successful candidate will be working within key stage 1 providing literacy interventions for pupils needing additional support, the role will focus on supporting pupils reading and writing skills in an engaging and calm environment and ensuring all progress is logged and evidenced for pupil development. Experience working with Read, Write, Inc or CatchUp Literacy would be advantageous.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification Or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Patience and initiative
- Desired - experience with literacy interventions
