Supplier Quality Engineer

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will manage the Plant SQA\SQD function to improve quality in line with the site's PPM/Demerit targets. You will also assist with the management and development of the plant SQA function and manage the introduction of new Bought-Out Parts BOPs with the support and cooperation of the advanced supplier Quality Assurance Engineer and the Program Quality Engineer.

To give you an idea of how this Supplier Quality Engineer role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Manage an efficient and effective APQP process for all new BOPs
• Manage the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) only after acceptance by the plant
• Contain and validate existing BOPs where the parts are the subject of problem-solving activities
• Manage supplier progress plans in co-operation with the plant buyers
• Manage Quality claims and ensure resolution through communication and assistance to the supplier

• Degree in engineering 
• Minimum 3 years experience as an SQA in an industrial environment
