General Manager – Essex - £55k – Independent Education

We are working with a well-established national catering provider who are on the hunt for the role of General Manager for a fantastic independent school in Essex.

About the role:

You will be catering for roughly 1300 across this day school with a small number of boarders. You will have a team of around 40 which you will oversee and develop through training and mentoring. The site has several catering outlets including retail.

Ideal General Manager:

Experience in Contract Catering ideally in independent schools or B&I. Alternatively someone from a high-end hotels background would be considered
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to create a motivated and high-performing team
Financial understanding and P&L management along with experience developing budgets
Proven experience developing and implementing strategies to improve customer experience
Most of all, you will need to be a real foodie!
