About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a secondary school in the Redbridge area. We are seeking a dedicated teacher who can inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons in French to help foster a passion for languages and learning.
As an MFL Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' development in language acquisition, and promoting a global outlook. You will be teaching French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to extend to Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in French, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  • Promote an enthusiasm for learning languages and culture among students.
  • Contribute to the development of the MFL department and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and confident.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities related to MFL, such as language clubs or trips.

Successful Applicant:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching French at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Passionate about languages and keen to inspire students to achieve their best.
  • Experience working with students of varied abilities, with a focus on differentiation and inclusion.
