About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Finance Systems and Process Improvement Officer to enhance financial systems and processes. Working with the IT and Systems Manager , you will improve finance system interfaces, streamline processes, and ensure the integrity of financial data, with a focus on automating billing, and debt management to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and automate processes, reducing manual interventions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems, working with IT and software providers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure effective system controls and access.
  • Develop financial reports and dashboards to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Provide training to finance and non-finance staff, improving system use and compliance.
  • Drive process improvements to meet evolving business requirements.

About You

  • Degree-level qualification or relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools, with strong Excel skills. Improving finance reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to solve problems, implement improvements, and support system users.

This is an interim role newly created for this manufacturing business to assist with efficiency's and costings - potential of a permanent position after 6 months due to business acquisitions and growth within the food sector
