Role: Sales Consultant  PART TIME

Location: Buckingham, MK18 1HE

Hours: Monday to Friday – 5 hours per day – can be flexible with hours but will need to be 5 days per week

Salary: £20,000 plus annual bonus scheme

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Consultant  to join our client’s successful team in Buckingham.

About our client:

Established in 1978,  the oldest and most experienced specialist in plastic cased medium and low temperature pre-insulated pipe systems in the UK and Ireland.

About the role:

To develop client base & contacts, produce high quality leads to maximise opportunities in securing orders.

Duties of a Sales Consultant:

  • ‘Warm lead’ telephone calls from an extensive database to promote products and services (50% of workload)
  • Carry out sales quotation follow up telephone calls (50% of workload)
  • · Use of Glenigan’s software to generate and enhance sales leads
  • · General sales lead generating
  • · Meeting targets on telephone calls and sales orders
  • · Upselling
  • · Organise sales meetings and site visits for Directors
  • · Produce sales references
  • · Receive and action incoming sales calls
  • · Input, update and edit enquiry/customer/supplier records on bespoke computer software
  • · Issue sales brochures and technical literature

What we would like from you:

Candidate to be a team player but with the drive and enthusiasm to work solely to achieve their targets.

You should have previous experience of working on the telephone to achieve sales targets, well organised with good admin skills and punctual.
