Ambitious/experienced Site Manager required to work independently reporting into Project Manager/Contracts Manager on a £10m new build GP surgery in Buckingham, to manage the construction and internal fit out of the 3 storey new build block and care ward in total of 65 rooms. The project is on site in early March, and will consist of piling and steel frame
Reporting to the Project Manager/Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing all site based construction activities for your building, including input to design coordination, mid and short-term programming of works, logistics, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, quality control, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, issue resolution, management of site team including site managers and engineer, etc, snagging and handover.

The role is with the busy regional office of this national main contractor with an excess of £60m annual turnover, and a solid pipeline of work in the Oxfordshire, Surrey & Berkshire area predominantly Healthcare, Automotive and Industrial sectors.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills. Proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor advantageous.
Ideally from a trades, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and quality, you will possess strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach. Ideally you will have 5-10 years of experience with a tier 2 main contractor.
You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.
