Location: Buckingham

Hours: 8:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri

We are seeking a skilled Tools Fitter to join our busy company, where you will play a key role in servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools and equipment. This role will consist of but not limited to. The opportunity to work with a range of equipment, including diesel, 2/4 stroke petrol tools and electrical tools such as breakers, saws, grinders, and drills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining small tools, including petrol and diesel contractor tools.
  • Testing and running electrical tools - PAT testing
  • Ensuring all equipment is in good working order for customer hire.
  • Maintaining accurate records of tool maintenance and testing
  • Issuing parts requisitions and following up
  • Liaising with colleagues in other departments to meet deadlines
  • Servicing of customer equipment
  • On site breakdowns

Skills & Qualities:

  • Preferred but not essential: Experience in repairing small construction tools such as Makita.
  • Preferred but not essential: PAT testing experience.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Full, UK driving license.
  • Reliable with a proactive attitude.
  • Able to work independently.
