Position: Tools Fitter
Salary: 25,000
Location: Buckingham
Hours: 8:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri
We are seeking a skilled Tools Fitter to join our busy company, where you will play a key role in servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools and equipment. This role will consist of but not limited to. The opportunity to work with a range of equipment, including diesel, 2/4 stroke petrol tools and electrical tools such as breakers, saws, grinders, and drills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining small tools, including petrol and diesel contractor tools.
- Testing and running electrical tools - PAT testing
- Ensuring all equipment is in good working order for customer hire.
- Maintaining accurate records of tool maintenance and testing
- Issuing parts requisitions and following up
- Liaising with colleagues in other departments to meet deadlines
- Servicing of customer equipment
- On site breakdowns
Skills & Qualities:
- Preferred but not essential: Experience in repairing small construction tools such as Makita.
- Preferred but not essential: PAT testing experience.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Full, UK driving license.
- Reliable with a proactive attitude.
- Able to work independently.
