Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, encouraging exploration, play, and hands-on learning
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met through differentiated instruction
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to support children’s learning and well-being
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to deliver high-quality provision for all learners

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specific EYFS teaching experience
  • Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach, able to engage children with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • A deep understanding of child development and the ability to use a range of assessment strategies to support progress
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to individual pupils
