Location: Buckingham

Contract type: Full time, permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am - 5:30pm, Friday 9am - 4:30pm (1 hour lunch break)

About The Job:My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in Buckingham. Reporting to the Operations Director, this permanent, full-time role will support the implementation of HR strategies and daily operations while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary HR contact for all employee queries, including holiday management, sickness absence, and general HR administration.
  • Manage and standardise the sickness absence process, including return-to-work interviews and documentation.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR matters, policies, and best practises.
  • Drive the performance review process, including scheduling and documentation.
  • Enhance the employee onboarding experience for consistent delivery across departments.
  • Maintain HR systems and records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Advisor to improve talent attraction strategies.
  • Support benefits administration and coordinate employee engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practises
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven ability to handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar-sized organisation (50-200 employees)
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience with change management and organisational development
