- Perform assembly and fitting of mechanical systems and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary adjustments and repairs
- Work with technical drawings, schematics, and instructions to ensure precision and compliance with specifications
- Conduct testing and inspection to verify correct operation of machinery
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or related field preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
