The Role

Our client has a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an Insurance and Investments Advisor to join their team! You will be responsible for providing the highest possible level of service to existing and potential clients of the agency. Taking the time to fully understand their needs, probe for gaps in existing covers, and ensuring that you are always protecting their current and future interests in the way that best suits their personal circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls and dealing enquiries that are sent in by phone, email, website enquiries and letters.
  • Dealing with claims enquiries and handling complaints.
  • Generating leads and new business through consistent cross selling, customer service and proactive campaign calls.
  • Probing for gaps in cover that could leave a client open to a claim and making relevant recommendations to ensure that they are fully protected.
  • Providing quotations for various covers, processing midterm adjustments and changes to client records and policies.
  • Attending ad-hoc training, events and trade shows.

Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
  • Minimum GCSE C grade (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Demonstrate problem solving ability, good attention to detail and willingness to use own initiative and judgement.
