What You Will Do:
- Develop and pre-develop programs for 3D scanning and measurement of new products, ensuring precision and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to optimize measurement features and tolerances, contributing to the high-quality standards of products.
- Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for all mould parts by drawing release, ensuring all modifications and revisions are accurately reported.
- Provide quality support for projects, ensuring all project team members have up-to-date and accurate CTS data.
- Conduct statistical studies and continuous improvement processes to enhance the efficiency of the 3D scanning and measurement processes.
- Liaise with customers and support customer quality representatives on projects, showcasing your expertise and maintaining high standards of communication and service.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in Metrology, with a strong ability to program 3D Scanning machines using Polyworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A solid understanding of GD&T, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques for plastic parts and a commitment to adhering to health and safety policies.
